Job Description
AG Hotels Group is seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Night Receptionist at our hotel- Bluewaters Hotel, Blackpool. As a night receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during the night shift.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in guests arriving during the night shift
- Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and provide information about the hotel and local area
- Handle guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally
- Manage the check-out process and ensure accurate billing
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and presentable
- Monitor security cameras and ensure the safety and security of guests and the premises
- Perform administrative tasks, such as updating guest records and making reservations
- Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure guest satisfaction
- Handle emergency situations and follow appropriate procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of PMS and basic computer skills
- Availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Professional appearance and demeaner
The candidate should be flexible to work weekend shifts and cover sickness/ holidays.
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: £12.85 per hour
