Night Shift Security

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant night shift security to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises, staff, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are adhered to while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a fire safety patrol by ensuring all devices are turned off, charging zones are safe, lighting and emergency signs are functional, bins are clear of flammable items, fire exits are unobstructed, and CCTV is operating properly.
• Conduct a security patrol by checking all doors, windows, and outdoor cabinets are secure, smoke detectors are normal, no water leaks in toilets or cafeteria, investigating unusual noises, monitoring suspicious activity, and inspecting fences for damage.
• Conduct a routine patrol every 2 hours by rechecking doors, windows, and containers, inspecting fences and charging zones, monitoring for suspicious activity, and reviewing CCTV for anomalies.
• Record all patrol findings with time and results, review and send the feedback about the screenshot CCTV every 2 hours, and in case of fire, theft, or other emergencies, take appropriate action if safe and immediately notify the warehouse manager or call 999 as needed.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating CCTV systems and surveillance technology.
• Strong understanding of loss prevention strategies and techniques.
• Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond effectively in emergencies.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written in English, for effective reporting and interaction with staff and visitors.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing challenging situations.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on safety and security.
