Job Title: Office Assistant

Job Description

Join a leading Heat Exchange company in Beaumont as an Office Assistant. This role combines receptionist duties with document control and accounting assistance. Experience is beneficial, but training is available for motivated individuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support and office management assistance.
• Handle document control tasks, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Assist with invoicing by coding and matching vendor codes.
• Run local office errands and assist the purchasing department with various tasks.
• Perform data entry and customer service duties.
• Manage calendar appointments and maintain office files.
• Operate front desk functions including scanning and clerical duties.
  
  

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in invoicing and document control.
• Strong administrative and clerical skills.
  
  

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Office management experience is preferred.
• Ability to multitask efficiently.
• Familiarity with a manufacturing environment.

Work Environment

Work in a medium-sized, non-climate controlled manufacturing shop with about 40 personnel. Employees are supportive and eager to share their knowledge. The day shift operates Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional extended hours or Saturday work. Night shift is from 6:00 PM to 4:30 AM. Expect to work around 60 hours a week. Dress code includes steel-toe boots, jeans, work shirts, and safety glasses.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beaumont, Texas.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
