OR Care Technician Coordinator Responsibilities
- Ensures the timely and efficient completion of daily task assigned to the OR Care Techs.
- Identifies orientation and educational needs and assists in designing and developing programs to promote education and enhance skills.
- Assists the manager with the development and implementation of new programs and systems.
- Screens candidates for replacement positions and participates in the completion of annual performance and competency evaluations.
- Assists the manager in the monthly scheduling of the OR assistants.
- Promotes communication and collaboration among staff to enhance customer service to patients, surgeons and other members of the health care team.
Requirements:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- High School or Equivalent
- Minimum of 2-year experience in a related field (Surgical Related, Sterile Processing, Patient Care)
- Preferred - Specialized education in PCT, LPN, EMT, MA, or CNA
- Preferred - 1-year - Coordinator Role in a related field
- Preferred - Interpersonal skills

Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies
