Job Description:
As a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist at EWC, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health and behavioral challenges. You will provide direct care, implement treatment plans, and ensure a safe and supportive environment for our clients. Your contributions will be essential in helping our clients achieve their treatment goals and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Monitor and document clients' behavior, emotional state, and progress in accordance with treatment plans.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement, fostering a positive and therapeutic relationship with clients.
- Implement and monitor treatment plans, facilitating therapeutic activities and group sessions.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Respond to crisis situations, utilizing de-escalation techniques when necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with clients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to treatment planning and evaluation.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in a behavioral health or related setting is mandatory.
- Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors and de-escalate crises effectively.
- Basic understanding of mental health disorders and treatment approaches.
- Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping.
- Certifications: CPR/First Aid certification may be required; additional behavioral health certifications preferred.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
