Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities. This role is essential in ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all employees and visitors. The Janitor will perform a variety of cleaning tasks, contributing to the overall upkeep of the premises.

Duties

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to maintain hygiene standards.
  • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, and other surfaces as required.
  • Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks as needed to ensure the functionality of the building.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
  • Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure all areas are consistently maintained.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good physical stamina; ability to lift and move items as necessary.
  • Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
  • Familiarity with cleaning products, equipment, and safety procedures is a plus.

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 32 per week
