The Role
We’re looking for a caring and responsible Overnight Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. This role ensures the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of our pups during overnight stays. It’s a unique position where you’ll complete essential nightly routines, oversee the dogs through the evening and morning, and prepare the facility for the next day’s busy operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the safety and wellbeing of dogs overnight (7 PM – 7 AM).
• Manage evening and morning feeding routines, ensuring every pup’s needs are met.
• Take dogs for relief breaks and provide comfort through their nighttime routines.
• Confidently handle and walk large dogs (including those over 100 lbs).
• Step in to manage new scenarios and intervene where needed, always prioritizing safety.
• Complete nightly cleaning checklist, including after-hours facility upkeep.
• Draft pet parent updates when required, ensuring clear communication about their pup’s stay.
• Prepare the facility to a clean and welcoming standard for the morning daycare hand-off.
• Attend to and clean up after dogs as needed.
• Once responsibilities are complete, sleeping or relaxing (films, quiet time) is permitted while remaining attentive to the pups throughout the night.

What We’re Looking For

• Passion for dogs and comfort working with multiple breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
• Ability to confidently handle and care for large dogs (100+ lbs).
• Reliable, trustworthy, and attentive—safety of the pups comes first.
• Strong adaptability and problem-solving in new scenarios.
• Ability to work independently through 12-hour overnight shifts in a surveilled facility that provides added safety and accountability.
• Comfortable completing cleaning tasks and following routines/checklists.
• Previous pet care, kennel, or daycare experience is an asset, but not required—we’ll train the right fit!
