Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and caring after-school care nanny. A family is seeking a dependable and active nanny to care for their 6-year-old son after school each day. While the core schedule will remain consistent, they would appreciate someone who’s also open to the occasional date night shift. In addition to childcare, responsibilities include driving their son to nearby activities (within a 5-mile radius), preparing snacks, light tidying (such as cleaning up after snacks and loading/unloading the dishwasher), and occasional meal prep. They’re hoping to find someone who feels like an extension of the family who can be with them long-term.

Duties

- Engage children in age-appropriate activities and ensure their safety and well-being

- Follow established routines and schedules to maintain consistency for the children

- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and diaper changes as needed

- Supervise playtime, outdoor activities, and educational tasks

- Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children

Requirements

- Pass a Background Check

- Previous experience working with children

- CPR and First Aid certification

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities

- Reliable transportation to travel to different locations as needed
