Flexible Part-Time Nanny Needed!

Start Date: September 2nd, 2025

Compensation: $30 an hour

Children's Ages: 9 & 7 years old

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 3:00pm-7:00pm & Friday 3:00pm-6:00pm. With an option for additional hours in the AM, PM and overnights.

Description: A warm and busy family in Hanover, MA is seeking a reliable, engaging nanny to assist with after-school care for their two school-aged children.

There are options for more hours with occasional later evenings for parent work events. And optional morning hours are available on Tuesday and Wednesdays from 7:00 AM to 8:15 AM for candidates looking to supplement their schedule, but morning availability is not required. Evening and overnight flexibility is required.

Afternoon responsibilities include school pick-up, driving to and from activities, assisting with homework, and starting or serving dinner. Light household tasks are expected, such as tidying up after meals, wiping surfaces, unpacking bags, and encouraging the children to keep their rooms organized.

The ideal candidate is energetic, proactive, and truly enjoys engaging with children. Experience with elementary and middle school-aged kids is preferred. A valid driver’s license, vehicle and clean driving record are essential. Must also be comfortable driving in the Hanover area.

Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly encouraged to apply, as the family is bilingual and supports Spanish language exposure.

The children are active, funny, and friendly. While they may be shy at first, they tend to warm up quickly with caregivers who make an effort to connect. The kids enjoy outdoor play, cooking, and imaginative activities, and they do not use screens during the week.

Benefits: Guaranteed hours (19) and mileage reimbursement. Paid vacation, sick days, and holidays. Position is paid on the books.

Requirements:

• Punctual, dependable, and organize
• First Aid/CPR Certified
• Non- smoker
• At least 21 years old
• Minimum of 3 years of professional Nanny experience
• Willing to submit a background check & motor vehicle report
• Reliable safe transportation
• Comfortable with one parent working from home occasionally
• Able to make at least a year commitment
• Proactive with light household tasks
• Experience with children in elementary and/or middle school
• Must be comfortable with dogs
• Flexible and able to do occasional evenings or overnights

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 19 per week
