Responsibilities

As our Night Auditor, you'll be responsible for settling guest and house accounts on the overnight shift, making sure that the next day starts fresh.

You will run reports and distribute them as directed, based on the days activities.

What You'll Do

• Calculate and updates guest ledger balances, posts charges, adjustments, and settlements to guest and house accounts.
• Review each shift audit from the hotel and spa departments.
• Ensure overnight guest needs are met be in charge of fulfilling those requests.
• Be a problem solver when things go wrong or need repair. Help solve guest problems or relocate a guest to another room if needed.
• Update guest information on the communications systems to provide early risers timely information such as a Yoga class or morning walk activities.
• Serve as a Guest Services Representative, PBX Operator and Bellperson as required, (i.e., settling guest accounts, answering the phones).
• Provides guest services in the absence of normally assigned staff.
  
  

Qualifications

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

• 1+ years of Hospitality front desk operations required. Previous night audit experience will be very helpful.
• Opera Property Management system preferred.
• Understanding of maintenance issues to assist with minor room issues. Excellent communication skills.
• CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of employment.
• TIPS or Alcohol Awareness Certified a plus Valid Driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Basic accounting or bookkeeping knowledge.
