Job Summary

OMEX Office Maintenance Experts are seeking part time Light Duty Office Cleaners.

2 DAYS A WEEK FOR 2.5 HOURS

Responsibilities:

Perform a wide variety tasks throughout the main building as required. Primary function includes ensuring general cleanliness standards are upheld thereby keeping the building in a presentable and hygienic state.

Directly Reports to: Operations Manager

Duties:

• Sweep and dust/wet mop floors
• Dust furniture and desks
• Vacuum carpeting, area rugs
• Disinfect and polish lunch room fixtures and appliances
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
• Clean and disinfect, door handles, walls, countertops, and displays
• Restock washrooms with toilet rolls, soap, and towels
• Empty garbage and recycling receptacles and reline
• Empty paper shredders
• Clean interior of building windows
• To maintain all equipment to be of a clean condition.
• To report all faults to the supervisor
• To participate in all training relevant and as required.
• Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations as outlined by the Company
• Adhere to Personnel Policies and Procedures at all times as outlined by the Company
• Additional duties as required from time to time
• Skills, Abilities, Knowledge Requirements:
• Ability to perform light duty cleaning tasks from verbal instructions and demonstrations
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Good verbal communication skills
• A creative approach to problem solving; adaptability and flexibility
• Strong organizational abilities Judgment and discretion; ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Eager to learn basic maintenance skills as required

Working Conditions:Job Type: Part-time

• Work is performed indoors in an office/industrial setting
• Able to stand for extended periods of time
• Frequently bending and lifting is a requirement of the position

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour

Experience:

• Commercial cleaning: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
