Job Description
Position: Independent Personal Assistant Contractor
Scope of Services
The Contractor shall provide non-medical personal assistance services under the Texas PAS framework, tailored to the elevated standards of CARE ON CALL LLC. Services include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility
- Performing light housekeeping, meal preparation, and home ambiance upkeep
- Escorting clients to appointments, errands, or curated lifestyle engagements
- Supporting client safety, comfort, and emotional well-being with discretion and grace
- Promptly reporting any care-related concerns through designated agency channels
All services shall be delivered with refined presence, emotional fluency, and attentiveness to individual rhythm, in accordance with Care On Call’s philosophy of dignified, personalized care.
Your Role:
As a Personal Assistant Contractor, you'll deliver one-on-one, non-medical support services that help clients live with comfort, safety, and grace. You’ll operate independently while partnering with our agency for scheduling coordination and care updates.
Contractor Obligations
Contractor shall:
- Operate independently, determining service delivery methods and schedule
- Use personal tools, supplies, and transportation
- Maintain professional liability insurance and comply with HIPAA standards
- Submit timely invoices for services rendered
- Maintain professional conduct and confidentiality at all times
- Bear sole responsibility for applicable self-employment taxes
Client Assignment & Pairing
Contractor may be paired with clients based on compatibility and availability. Contractor may remain paired for the duration of the client's service period or until reassignment is requested by the agency or client. Contractor retains the right to accept or decline any assignment.
Access & Operational Requirements
Contractor will be granted access to the agency’s secure documentation system for the purpose of viewing care plans, submitting service notes, and reporting concerns. Contractor must:
- Clock in and out using the agency’s designated timekeeping system for each client visit
- Maintain accurate records of service delivery
- Use the system solely for authorized purposes and maintain confidentiality
Use of these systems does not alter the contractor’s independent status and is intended solely for coordination and compliance purposes.
