Job Description: Personal Care Assistant/Certified Nurse Assistant

Seeking a Personal Care Assistant (PCA/CFSS) or Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) for home support and companionship. This role is perfect for a college student or someone interested in the medical or holistic health care field. We enjoy practicing healthy habits daily and having someone to assist in our wellness routine is so valuable and allows us to manage our health conditions more effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Housekeeping and Emotional Support
• Perform regular housekeeping tasks, including: cleaning, laundry, and maintaining the residence
• Prepare meals alongside the client as needed
• Assist with errands
• Help client with mobility support to stay active
• Assist with lifting heavy objects and organizing
• Companionship and emotional support
• Overnight Hours:
• Awake overnight shifts to support and check in on client throughout the night
• Assist with any nighttime needs
• Support a comfortable and safe space for client

Additional Requirements:

• No heavy perfumes or smoky odors during shifts due to client health concerns
• Please respect client privacy
• Prompt communication if any schedule adjustments need to be made or you cannot work a scheduled shift
• A supportive, encouraging communication style is always valued and appreciated!

Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License and insurance
• Pass a state DHS and residence background check
• Provide 2-3 references at the time of the interview

Compensation:

• $26.00/hour

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week

Work Location: In person
