Press Brake Setter/Operator Amada - day and night shift available

£400 joining Bonus after probation. Immediate starts available

Day rate £14.31 - £15.50 (depending on experience)

Night rate £17.88

About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Press Brake Setter to join our growing team. You will be responsible for setting and operating Amada press brake machines, ensuring the accurate production of precision sheet metal components to exact specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate Amada press brake machinery.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform quality checks using measuring tools such as verniers, calipers, and gauges.
• Adjust machine settings to optimize production and maintain tolerances.
• Work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Carry out basic maintenance and cleaning of machinery.
• Maintain health and safety standards at all times.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Press Brake Setter, ideally on Amada machines.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes.
• Ability to work to tight tolerances.
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
