Healthcare Night Shift

Job Description

Cheyenne is seeking experienced and compassionate nurses to join our team on a PRN basis. We are a highly regarded post-hospital rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility, known for combining advanced clinical care with a supportive and respectful environment for both residents and staff. As a PRN Nurse at Cheyenne, you will have the flexibility to choose between two 12-hour shifts, making it easier to balance your professional responsibilities with your personal life:

  • Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

You will work alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals who share your commitment to exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with individualized care plans.
  • Perform thorough assessments and monitor residents for changes in condition.
  • Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
  • Maintain detailed and timely documentation.
  • Follow infection control protocols and safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure optimal resident outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Current Texas nursing license (RN or LVN).
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification.
  • Strong clinical skills, sound judgment, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Commitment to treating residents with dignity, patience, and respect.
