Job Description
Founded in 2018 by Ohad Seroya and Aviad Klin, Retrofête is a womenswear collection marked by its bold character, intricate detail, and sparkling embellishments. The New York-based label, which takes its name from a melding of synonyms for ‘vintage’ and ‘party’, channels disco-era after-hours through tastefully provocative, day-and-night silhouettes.
THIS IS FOR SUMMER 2025 INTERNSHIP FOR IMMEDIATE HIRE
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the product development team on the following tasks:
- Filing swatches, fabric, trim, and embroidery bulk approvals
- Ensure organization of coded color library system for internal and external use
- Update fabric and trim library folders
- Support in managing Label Masters for factories.
- Assist with filling in product information sheets
Qualification Requirements
2-5 days/week in person commitment
- College student or recent graduate studying product development, design or production in garment manufacturing.
- Knowledge of fabric, trim, hardware and garment construction.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal, multi-task, and prioritization skills
- Proficiency in Excel and Outlook
