Professional Security Agent

Location: North San Diego County – Oceanside and Carlsbad

This is a client facing role which means you will be highly visible and will interact with clients and their employees constantly throughout work shifts.

Position Details:

Unarmed Security Professional
As an Unarmed Security Professional at CALSEC, you will maintain a safe and secure environment by providing a visible presence to deter unauthorized access, theft, and vandalism.

Requirements: A valid BSIS Guard Card is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine patrols and security checks of designated areas.

Monitor CCTV systems and use basic computer messaging systems.

Communicate effectively and professionally via dispatch-monitored radios.

Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors.

Respond to incidents and emergencies, including contacting law enforcement when necessary.

Conduct employee screenings as needed.

Maintain a professional, well-groomed, uniformed appearance.

Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records.

Armed Security Professional
As an Armed Security Professional, you will provide advanced security services in both armed and unarmed settings, ensuring the safety of clients, employees, and assets.

Requirements: A valid BSIS Guard Card and Exposed Firearms Permit are required.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct armed patrols and security checks.

Respond to security incidents, including in armed environments.

Provide a strong, professional security presence.

Collaborate with local law enforcement when needed.

Monitor CCTV systems and use basic computer messaging systems.

Communicate effectively via two-way radios.

Conduct employee screenings as needed.

Maintain a crisp, professional appearance.

Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications for All Positions:

High school diploma or equivalent (additional education may be required for specific roles).
Valid BSIS licensing (Guard Card required; Firearms Permit required for armed positions).
Previous security experience preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
