1 year of related experience required in order to demonstrate understanding of general office and patient care policies, programs, filing systems, screening, directing visitors and calls. Word processing and data entry experience.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology beneficial.
- Skill in using computers and a variety of personal productivity applications.
- Ability to read and write to proof read and edit routine correspondence and forms.
- Ability to type routine correspondence and data enter information into the computer timely and accurately.

Ability to prioritize position duties and responsibilities as well as attend to multiple demands and requests simultaneously and assess situations and act accordingly.
- Provides secretarial support, prepares correspondence and reports and performs data entry as assigned.
- Acts as receptionist for the assigned area, answers incoming calls and directs them to the appropriate team member. Greets visitors, patients and employees and assists as appropriate.
- Responds to customer service requests regarding patients, families, payers, referral source, vendors, etc.
- Develops and maintains record keeping and filing systems following program protocols.

Coordinates new patient referrals and associated paperwork.

Final salary offer will be based on the candidate's qualifications, education, experience and alignment with our organizational needs.
