Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Registered Nurse – Emergency Department for an exciting job in Utica, NY.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to critically ill and injured patients across all age groups.

• Perform rapid assessments, initiate interventions, and follow evidence-based emergency protocols.

• Safely operate specialty equipment (e.g., Rapid Infusor, Arctic Sun).

• Support patient flow across triage, super track, trauma bays, CDU, and psychiatric units.

• Serve as charge RN when required — coordinate team, delegate tasks, and support junior staff.

• Accurately document all care in EPIC EMR.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal clinical outcomes.

• Adhere to hospital policies, safety regulations, and professional nursing standards.

• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

• Float to designated units as needed while maintaining adaptability.

Qualifications

• Active New York RN license with current NURSYS verification.

• Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department experience (pediatrics exposure required).

• Certifications (must be current): ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (in-hand).

• EPIC EMR proficiency is mandatory.

• Valid driver’s license matching application demographics.

• Ability to manage multiple critical situations in a high-volume, high-acuity environment.

• ED specialty skills checklist must be up to date.
