- Fixed term, part-time vacancy (0.7 FTE, 56 hours per fortnight) until 19/08/26
- Salary band - $81,000 - $106,000 p.a pro-rata and KiwiSaver

About the role
The Medical Assessment Unit is closely linked to the Emergency Department and other front-line services, so variety is a key element in this busy but rewarding role.
- Streamline the assessment and admission of non-critically ill medical patients
- Accommodate and care for patients for up to 24 - 36 hours
- Tend to patients during what can be a vulnerable and scary experience
- Our service is compassionate, friendly and we are committed to high standards of practice
- Rostered rotating shifts 24/7 - including night shifts

About you:
- Current registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council and a current APC, with the right to work in New Zealand
- Previous experience in an acute setting
- Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals
- Excellent time management, interpersonal and organisational skills
- The ability to be adaptable, flexible and solution focused

Salary range
This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the expired NZNO CEA and the salary will be in accordance with the Pay Scale, between $81,683 and $106,739 p.a dependent on relevant experience.
