Registered Nurse (RN) - Interior

Adeksa Healthcare Recruitment is currently hiring Travel Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide in-home support and community nursing across various locations in Interior BC. This role is ideal for nurses who enjoy working independently, thrive in dynamic environments, and are passionate about delivering high-quality, compassionate care in a home-based setting.

As a Travel RN, you will support clients with a variety of complex needs—helping them manage health conditions, recover from illness, and maintain independence while living at home. You'll be responsible for traveling between client homes, assessing care needs, and delivering services in alignment with BC’s professional nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver client-centered nursing care in home and community settings
• Perform health assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications, perform wound care, and monitor chronic conditions
• Educate clients and their families on medication, health conditions, and self-care strategies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and escalate concerns when needed
• Accurately document nursing care using electronic medical records
• Provide flexible care across multiple communities in the Interior BC region
• Work 12-hour rotating Day/Night shifts (D | N 12 HR Rotating)

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN License in good standing
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (preferably in community, long-term care, or acute care settings)

Preferred and Asset Qualifications in one of the following below:

• RN with Critical Care certification
• Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
• CPR-C and current First Aid Certification
• Specialty training in Emergency Nursing, ACLS, and CTAS
• Experience in Emergency, Critical Care, or Trauma Nursing
• Additional certifications such as PALS, TNCC, and ATLS are considered strong assets
• LPNs may be considered only if they have specialty training in critical care with an emergency department focus or equivalent experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications
