Required skills and experience: IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Respiratory, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Tracheostomy care/management, Gastrointestinal, Colostomy care and management, Feeding tube care and management, Neurological/Psychiatric, Medications, Heparin, Insulin, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Professional Knowledge and Skills, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac, Work Settings, Med/Surg, Genitourinary/Renal, Plastics, Surgical drains
Preferred skills and experience: Teaching Hospital Experience. Accessing/Managing Ports, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, CPAP/BiPAP, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Oral suctioning, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Spinal cord injuries, Traumatic Brain injury, PCA, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Renal failure, BH exp, Heparin drips
Required credentials: Drivers License/State ID. Government issued photo ID.
Shift & schedule requirements: Every other weekend, we can also discuss 36 or 48 hours/week during interview. Must work 50% of holidays during contract.
Floating requirements: Med-surg units. Floating is mandatory – all travelers must float, including as Patient Observers (Sitters). MS may float to MS/Tele.
Special request requirements: All RTO must be submitted at time of submission – no exceptions.
