Studio 6 in McAllen, TX is currently seeking a dependable and customer-focused Relief Clerk to join our team. This position plays an important role in supporting the daily operations of the hotel by assisting with front desk duties, guest services, and administrative tasks when coverage is needed.

We are looking for someone who is professional, detail-oriented, and enjoys providing excellent customer service to guests in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Position Overview

The Relief Clerk will provide support to the front desk and hotel operations as needed. This role may cover shifts during staff absences, weekends, or busy periods and requires flexibility and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Assist with guest check-ins and check-outs
• Answer phones and respond to guest inquiries
• Process reservations and update guest information in the system
• Handle payments and maintain accurate records
• Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
• Address guest concerns or escalate issues when necessary
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area
• Assist with basic administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Previous hotel, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel management software
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling

Schedule

• Relief / as-needed coverage
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
