At Beacon Childcare, we’re on a mission to create nurturing, stable homes for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD)—and we’re looking for passionate Residential Care Workers to join our growing team in Rugeley.

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Residential Care Worker, you'll play a vital role in the everyday lives of our young people, supporting them through challenges and celebrating their successes. You'll help provide the kind of environment every child deserves—safe, supportive, and filled with opportunities to grow.

In this role, you will:

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality care and emotional support
• Encourage daily routines, school attendance, and personal development
• Create strong, trusting relationships as a positive role model
• Support the implementation of individualised care plans
• Maintain accurate records and reports using IT systems
• Accompany and drive young people to appointments, outings, and activities
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and compliant home under Ofsted and safeguarding standards

What We’re Looking For:

• A naturally caring, empathetic, and patient person
• Resilience and a commitment to making a long-term difference
• Experience in residential childcare (ideal but not essential)
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it)
• A full manual driving licence – essential to the role
• A strong understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries
