Residential DSP

Child Adult Resource Services, and Equal Opportunity Employer, is seeking DSPs for Residential Waiver Services in Muncie Area. Must have high school diploma/GED, no criminal history and a safe driving history. The Waiver DSP is responsible for general in-home care, interactive caregiving and actively engaging client(s) in life.

Duties not limited to, but include

• Provide quality services, ethical treatment and protect individuals of their rights and dignity as persons.
• Promote and provide individuals with opportunities for independence, normalization, and least restrictive environment.
• Assist individuals with daily living skills as well as personal daily living skills such as personal hygiene, oral hygiene, toileting, etc. as needed.

· Other assistance may include but not limited to…

- Mobility assistance - Conversation and companionship

- Meal preparation - Laundry

- Light housekeeping - Medication reminders

- Grooming guidance - Keeping client(s) engaged and active

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
