Our facility is seeking to hire Per Diem Respiratory Therapists for second and third shifts to join our team of experienced medical professionals for our new, state of the art, 20 bed Trach & Ventilator Unit.

Our highly skilled interdisciplinary team of care givers-which includes top Pulmonary Physicians, licensed Respiratory Therapists, Registered Nurses, CNA's, Wound Care Specialists and Rehabilitation Experts who all aim to restore maximum function and independence to pulmonary compromised patients while providing families with an unparallel level of support.
Shift: Per Diem Evenings 3pm-11pm, Nights 7pm-11am
Responsibilities Include;
Under general supervision and medical direction, respiratory care related procedures are performed.
Manages artificial airways, performs airway care and maintenance, ventilator management, troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical ventilators.
Assessment and treatment of residents/patient's respiratory status, ABG analysis. Administers prescribed therapies such as airway clearance; chest physiotherapy, percussion/vibration, deep tracheal suctioning and aerosolized medications. Review physician orders, correct aerosol therapy medication dosage. Communication and documentation are vital in inpatient care. Communicate with RT's, nurses, physicians and supervisor/management with any pertinent information regarding patient/respiratory status.
Assist in emergency cardio-pulmonary resuscitation. A therapist must be CPR certified. ACLS preferred but not required at time of hire.
