Our Richland facility is seeking applicants for their graveyard shift. This facility is a safe, high-producing facility with state of the art equipment. The successful candidate's main responsibilities will be loading and unloading rollstock and providing the corrugator with the correct rolls and will be joining a highly successful team who will work in a Golden Rule environment.

The hourly rate begins at $24.77 during the introductory period and increases to $30.03 after completing 60-days worked. In addition, PCA offers a competitive benefits package.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure that the product is moved from the truck or railcar to the staging area in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Maintain and perform daily safety inspections of the clamp truck and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Perform lockout/tag out procedures on railcars and follow dok-lok and all safety procedures.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and manufacturing practices at all times.
  • Efficiently provide the corrugator with accurate rolls
  • Pick and stage orders and load and unload trucks and railcars, while maintaining inventory integrity through proper handling and storage.
  • Other assigned tasks as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Graduate or GED.
  • One year stable work history
  • The open position will be on swing or graveyard shift; therefore, candidates must be willing to work these shifts and overtime as needed. We do pay a .50 cent shift differential.
  • Previous mobile equipment experience.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to safely meet production requirements while working independently.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well with others.
  • Certified industrial driver or ability to get certified in a timely manner.
  • Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment.
  • Ability to work with basic computer programs.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment.
  • Experience loading/unloading railcars and/or trucks.
  • Prior experience with scanning materials and reconciling inventory.
