Job Description
Maintain sanitary condition of equipment by following effective sanitation methods to meet regulatory requirements
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintains sanitary condition of equipment by disassembling equipment and cleaning to regulatory standards with use of high pressure water @ 140 - 160° F; following proper chemical allocation and cleaning applications
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
- Contributes to team effort by performing other duties as assigned and needed
- Adhere to all break and lunch requirements for the position.
- Learn and execute 8 steps of sanitizing equipment, work area, and other requirements for a quality operation
- Fulfill inspection requirement of equipment after sanitation process is complete.

Requirements
- Able to speak English preferred
- Previous related experience preferred
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP and USDA regulations preferred
- Able to work night shift; overtime and weekends as needed
- Effective communication skills

Learn and understand the three main areas of contamination.
- Able to lift in excess of 50 pounds occasionally throughout 8 hour shift
- Able to tolerate hot/steam and wet conditions 8+ hours per day
- Able to work around and with chemicals including alkaline detergents, acid and chlorine liquids, and caustic soaps

Standing, walking, and climbing 8+ hours per day

Minimum six months meeting all above requirements; up to three years
