Job Description
We have availability for a breakfast cook for morning shifts and a saute cook for evening/late night shifts. The most important quality we are looking for is a positive attitude, willingness to take direction, and ease of working with others.
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience as a saute cook or a breakfast cook in high volume restaurants.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Assist in menu planning, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting with ordering as needed.
- Participate in catering events, providing exceptional service and culinary expertise.
- Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety protocols.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
- Experience in fine dining or high-volume restaurant settings is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent culinary skills with a passion for food preparation and presentation.
- Familiarity with menu planning and dietary department requirements is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing menus and customer needs

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
