Security Officers - Event Scarefest Macomb Twp

Statewide Security is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Armed and Unarmed Security Officers for ScareFest 2025. Those applying for this position MUST have their own registered side arm, possess the proper duty gear and have a valid CPL. Statewide Security will provide on the job training in addition to continuing education in the security field. Room for advancement We are looking for individuals that posses the proper skill set to work in the following: 2 month long event in Macomb Mi primarily night time hours at a large Haunted / Concert attraction - applicants will then have the opportunity to remain on and work other site verticals that are in Macomb and Wayne county on a permanent basis.

• All applicants must have reliable transportation with a good driving record, cell phone and internet access.
• You must have open availability and be willing to work Night time Hours, weekends, holidays and on call.
• Wage based on experience and availability - Prior law Enforcement / Military / Professional Doormen and Women preferred but not required.

Requirements Include:

• Prior work experience with good customer service skills
• Dependable & Responsible
• Healthy and in good physical shape.
• Reliable Transportation with good driving record
• Willingness to work within a 30 mile radius if necessary (paid travel time or fuel reimbursement for certain locations)
• Able to perform with limited supervision the tasks of monitoring retail locations, interacting with retail staff and customers, following the prescribed protocol, completing reports and assignments, enforcing rules and regulations and complying with agency policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Must have either a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• May NOT have any felony convictions and must be able to pass a criminal background check in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must present a friendly, positive, and professional image.
• Must be willing to become CPR/1st Aide/AED Certified
• Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to sit, stand or walk for the duration of the shift, including walking long distances, and possibly up and down stairs
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be readily able to respond to emergency situations
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week

Experience:

• Security: 3 years (Required)
• Armed Security: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• Concealed Pistol License (Preferred)
