Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst III

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing operational processes, ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security and network management, with a focus on implementing best practices and innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing operational processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency.
• Must demonstrate a solid understanding of cyber security analysis, incident response, incident handling, and a proven an incident response team. Experience with Splunk, Sentinel One, Armis, SNA preferred
• Oversee the integration of Internet of Things (IoT) devices within the network environment.
• Conduct threat intelligence assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with information security policies and best practices.
• Provide support for Windows operating systems and troubleshoot related issues.

Shift

Saturday and Sunday night shift (10 hours, 2 shifts)

Monday off

Tuesday – day time (10 hours)

Weds – day time (10 hours)

Thursday off

Friday off

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Operations Analyst or similar role in a technology-driven environment.
• Must demonstrate a solid understanding of cyber security analysis, incident response, incident handling, and a proven an incident response team. Experience with Splunk, Sentinel One, Armis, SNA preferred.
• Strong understanding of network installation, infrastructure, and management principles.
• Familiarity with PaaS, IoT, OSPF, threat intelligence, SAN, information security, MPLS, and Windows systems is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
