Senior Night Porter

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Senior Night Porter with experience on working night shifts within a hotel setting to join our team in the hospitality sector. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have a pleasant and memorable experience during their stay. This position requires excellent customer service skills, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The role will be to over see all night time operations including reception & to supervise the porter with tasks required.

Duties

• Greet guests upon arrival and assist with any special requests.
• Reception tasks.
• Responsible for all security, health & safety of the hotel.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the lobby, entrance, and all public areas.
• Bar serving & close down duties.
• Responsible for all aspects of function room set - ups.
• Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and directions as needed.
• Ensure that all guest areas are well-stocked with necessary supplies.
• Monitor the condition of the property and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Collaborate with other hotel staff to enhance guest satisfaction and service quality.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings.
• Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.

Pay will be £29,000 per year.
