Job Summary
The Sponsored Residential Provider plays a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities within a home-like environment. This position involves providing personalized care and assistance to enhance the quality of life for residents, ensuring their needs are met in a compassionate and respectful manner. The ideal candidate will have experience in home community care and a strong commitment to fostering independence and dignity among individuals with diverse needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities in daily living activities.
- Implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident's unique needs and preferences.
- Assist with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met while accommodating dietary restrictions.
- Support residents in developing life skills, including personal hygiene, social interactions, and community engagement.
- Monitor and document residents' progress, behavior, and any changes in health status.
- Maintain a safe and clean living environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Utilize behavior management techniques as needed to promote positive outcomes for residents.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care.
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is required.
- Knowledge of home community care systems and long-term care practices.
- Familiarity with first aid procedures and emergency response protocols.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
- Ability to perform meal preparation and assist with dietary needs.
- Compassionate attitude towards caregiving, demonstrating patience and understanding in all interactions.
- Certification in first aid, TOVA, or CPR is a plus but not required.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.

Pay: $2,500.00 - $6,000.00 per month
