Job Description
The Student Completion Coordinator is responsible for the implementation of the Title III grant objectives while supporting the overall success of at risk students through collaboration and coordination with stakeholders by using enhanced support systems, employment connections, and data collection; Uses targeted support for students referred by Case Managers for timely and effective intervention; Tracks student outcomes and success.
Responsibilities Of The Student Completion Coordinator
- Coordinates Student Success Strategies with Internal Stakeholders - Collaborates closely with on-site Case Managers and the Project Manager to align and make recommendations for support services and academic interventions. Conducts regular meetings to assess program implementation and ensure student success models are fully integrated and operational across all departments.
- Supports At-Risk Students: Utilize data analytics and case management tools to provide targeted support for students referred by Case Managers. Collaborate closely with Case Managers to coordinate and implement evidence-based recommendations that address academic, financial, and personal challenges, ensuring timely and effective intervention.
- Enhances and Adapt Student Support Systems - Continuously evaluates and proposes modifications to existing student support systems and case management processes. Recommends enhancements based on student performance data and stakeholder feedback to improve program outcomes and student persistence throughout the academic year.
- Facilitates Employment Connections and Placement Services - Supports students in preparing for and connecting to employment opportunities in their fields of study. Uses portfolio-based case management records to track student placement outcomes, expanding services to include career coaching and post-graduation employment tracking. Develops, formalizes, and sustains partnerships with existing statewide employment agencies and resources.
- Leads Data Collection and Reporting for Student Outcomes - Expand institutional data collection efforts to include post-graduation metrics such as employment, industry-recognized credentialing, and long-term student success. Provide comprehensive reports to leadership, program reviews, and advisory councils to inform continuous improvement of academic and career support services. Participates in annual reporting of student placement, success, and employment.

State Minimum Requirements: A bachelor's degree and experience in student services programs. Must have a valid driver's license. NETC Preferred Requirements: Master's degree or higher in educational administration or related field and 3 or more years of related student services or project management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of the policies and procedures within student support services. Knowledge of the basic principles and theories of student development and educational administration. Knowledge of the techniques of individual and group counseling. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, parents, faculty, staff and the general public. Ability to identify, develop and implement programs and activities that will benefit the campus community. Ability to provide supportive counseling for a wide range of student problems and concerns.
Works under the supervision of the Director of Innovation and Advancement. Responsibilities include coordinating student success strategies with internal stakeholders; Supporting at-risk students; enhancing and adapting student support systems; facilitating employment connections and placement services; compiling and collecting data and reporting of student outcomes.
Additional Comments
Travel to other campus locations, high schools, community sites, and agencies may be required. Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time. May require overnight travel. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
