Caragh Precision is a medical device manufacturing company and a leader in the manufacture of precision engineered products for the top global medical device companies. It has over 100 CNC Machining Centres and assists in all stages of the product lifecycle from concept realisation to manufacturing. Based in Parkmore Galway, it specialises in Cardiovascular, Structural Heart and Orthopaedics.
We are currently recruiting Quality Control Technicians for weekend night shift for our company based in Parkmore Business Park, Co. Galway. This shift is 7am - 4pm Monday - Thursday and 7am - 12 pm. The ideal candidate will be able to train on days 7.00 -16.00 Monday - Thursday and 7.00 - 12.00 Friday for 6-8 weeks before moving onto shift.

General Function
Reporting to the cell lead/production supervisor, the quality control technician is responsible for supporting production processes with general operational tasks.
Main Duties
Following procedures and carrying out visual inspections on specialised products to make sure correct specifications are followed.
Maintaining high attention to detail at all times.
Achieving daily/weekly targets.
Adhering to Company policies and ensuring health and safety regulations are maintained at all times.
Key Skills and Competencies:
Science or Mechanical Engineering Certificate/degree ee or relevant experience in medical device industry will be considered.Accuracy and good attention to detail.
Good level of written and spoken English.
Ability to work well either individually and as part of a team.
Previous Quality Control experience in a medical device industry is an advantage
