Therapeutic and Non-Therapeutic Behavioral Aide - Baltimore MD

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate One-on-One Aide to provide individualized support to clients in our behavioral health setting. This position involves assisting individuals with various needs, promoting a safe and supportive environment, and ensuring the well-being of the clients in your care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one care and support to clients with behavioral health or developmental challenges.
• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and socialization.
• Monitor and record client progress and behavior, reporting any significant changes to the appropriate staff.
• Foster a positive, safe, and therapeutic environment for clients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure the best possible care for each client.
• Respond to emergencies and client needs as they arise, following all safety protocols.
• Promote and model positive behavior, coping skills, and social interactions.

Qualifications:

• Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Prior experience working with children, youth, or individuals with behavioral health challenges is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations.
