Tow Truck Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles and providing roadside assistance to customers in need. This role requires strong driving skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to manage conflicts effectively while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and wheel-lift models, to transport vehicles safely.
• Load and unload vehicles with care, ensuring no damage occurs during the process.
• Provide roadside assistance, including jump-starts, tire changes, and lockout services.
• Conduct basic automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle conditions before towing.
• Maintain accurate records of services rendered and vehicle condition reports.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding service requests and estimated arrival times.
• Manage conflicts professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction during stressful situations.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on tow trucks to ensure safe operation.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Tow Truck Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Valid driver's license​ is required.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and experience with automotive diagnostics are advantageous.
• Familiarity with load unloading procedures and safety protocols for towing operations.
• Experience operating forklifts
• Excellent conflict management skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
• And you can pass a DOT physical.
• Clean driving records
• Age 25
• 1099
• Experiences acquired for rollback and snatch truck

Pay: $500.00 - $1,500.00 per week
