Waking Night Care Assistant

Job Summary
As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals within a care home. Your compassionate nature and dedication will ensure that our clients receive the assistance they need to maintain their dignity and independence. You will work closely with clients to implement care plans, assist with daily activities, and foster a positive environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Implement individualised care plans tailored to each client's needs
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes to the supervising nurse or manager
• Foster a warm and supportive relationship with clients, promoting their emotional well-being
• Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the living environment for clients

• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care

Skills

• Proficient in English with strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members
• Experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable
• Knowledge of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively
• Basic IT skills for maintaining records and documentation

• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £12.80 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 33 per week
