Job Advertisement: Support Workers
Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
Pay: £12.50 per hour
Hours: 10pm to 9.30am, part- time / full time, weekends/ week nights
Report to: Home Manager
Start Date: ASAP
WE DO NOT PROVIDE SPONSORSHIP AND YOU MUST LEGALLY BE ABLE TO WORK OVER 24 HOURS A WEEK.
About Us
Curaliving is a well-established OFSTED-approved organisation providing semi-supported living services in the Northwest and Milton Keynes area. We work with young people aged 16-19, helping them develop essential life skills, independence, and mental health strategies as they transition to adulthood.
We are currently seeking dedicated Waking Night Support Workers to join our team and contribute to the positive development of young individuals in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete daily logs, incident reports, support plans, weekly reports, and other required documentation to a high standard.
- Provide practical and emotional support to all children in the home, help them settle for bed and assist them in the morning with their routine.
- Check on the child throughout the night at agreed times and when required , completing documents and maintaining the safety of the home for all
- Be there for the child emotionally and help safeguard them should they wake
- Participate in weekly staff training sessions.
- Collaborate with Social Workers and external agencies to provide effective support.
- Confidently manage and address challenging behaviors.
- Safeguard and protect young people, adhering to organizational policies.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Passionate about making a positive impact on young people’s lives.
- Experience in semi-supported living (preferred) or with young people.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and whistleblowing procedures.
- Proven ability to provide high-quality support to young individuals.
- Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or higher (preferred).
- Excellent communication and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Confident and effective in managing challenging situations.

Relocation/Commute:
Candidates must reliably commute to or plan to relocate to Milton Keynes before starting work.
