Waking Night Support Worker – Primrose Lodge (Addiction Recovery)
Location: Guildford
Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Average 43.75 hours per week
Working pattern: Week 1 – 3 nights, Week 2 – 4 nights (rolling rota)

Primrose Lodge, part of the UK Addiction Treatment Group (UKAT), is seeking a compassionate and reliable Waking Night Support Worker to join our team in Guildford. This is a vital role that helps provide stability, safety, and emotional support to our residents during overnight hours.
What you'll do:
Provide a reassuring presence and emotional support to clients overnight
Conduct regular wellbeing checks and respond to client needs promptly
Complete detailed handovers and maintain accurate records and logs
Carry out security and health & safety checks throughout the night
Work closely with the day team to ensure continuity of care
Working Hours:
7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Rolling rota: 3 nights one week, 4 nights the following week
Average of 43.75 hours per week
What we're looking for:
Experience working in a support or care setting is desirable but not essential – we provide full training
Someone calm, empathetic, and resilient, especially in crisis situations
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A commitment to promoting dignity, respect, and recovery
