Warehouse Dispatch Support

Job:

We are hiring an organized and detail-oriented Inbound Dispatch Support associate to assist with daily transportation coordination at our Walmart warehouse. This role involves scheduling inbound loads, managing trailers, communicating with internal teams and drivers, and supporting the dispatch operation to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving and Shipping Management.
• Manage trailer movement and tracking using the Yard Management System (YMS).
• Communicate with shunt drivers and other departments to coordinate trailer flow.
• Experience of GLS and YMS is mandatory.
• Creating deliveries and appointments is required.
• Ensure accurate data entry and record-keeping.
• Maintain professional communication via phone and email with all stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in dispatch, transportation coordination, warehouse dispatch.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Experience with scheduling systems and YMS is an asset (training can be provided).
• Highly reliable and organized with strong attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
