Warehouse Manager

Bizline Limited is a family-owned marketing and distribution company based in Hamilton, New Zealand. With a strong presence in the FMCG sector, we specialise in the supply of personal care products, grocery items and a wide variety of confectionery.

We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Warehouse Manager to lead and oversee our warehousing and distribution operations. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth and cost-effective movement of goods from our facility to customers across the country.

Your duties will include but not limited to:

• Determine, implement and monitor purchasing, storage and distribution strategies, policies and plans.
• Prepare and implement plans to maintain required stock levels at minimum cost.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to meet quality, cost and delivery requirements.
• Monitor and review storage and inventory systems to meet supply needs and control stock levels, ensuring proper storage practices for a wide range of FMCG products, including temperature-sensitive confectionery.
• Operate and manage recording systems to track supply and finished goods movements, ensuring timely re-ordering and re-stocking.
• Liaise with other departments and customers regarding outward goods and associated transportation requirements.
• Oversee the recording of purchase, storage, and distribution transactions and analyse logistics performance data and prepare reports for senior management.
• Maintain compliance with health & safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards across warehouse operations.
• Lead and direct warehouse staff and monitor performance to ensure efficiency and compliance with policies.

Qualification, Experience, and Attributes Required:

• At least 3 years relevant experience, or a relevant Level 7 or higher qualification.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of inventory control systems and warehouse software
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays as required.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Holds a full NZ Driving License.

Pay and Benefit

• Full-time permanent employment.
• Minimum of 30 hours/week guaranteed.
• Pay rate ranges between $32 per hour – $35 per hour.
