This role is in support of Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team in Belfast. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate assembly and handling of items within our warehouse, adhering to guidelines and maintaining a safe working environment.

Location and Salary

• Location: Belfast, BT3 9JQ

• Salary: £12.40 per hour + Nightshift Premium + Unsociable Hours Payment

• Days: Monday to Friday

• Shift Times: 18:00 PM to 02:00 AM - 37.5 hours per week

• Additional Payments:

  • Nightshift premium of £3.96 per hour (10 PM - 2 AM)

  • Unsociable hours payment of £4.60 per shift (6 PM - 10 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately assemble items from pick documentation, ensuring the correct quantity is picked.

• Handle items with care to avoid damage; report any damages to the line team leader.

• Report any picking errors or visible issues in the warehouse to the line team leader immediately.

• Ensure hospital and special check orders are assembled accurately and verified.

• Follow specific guidelines for picking medical bulk, fridge, and secure area orders, as covered in training.

• Respond promptly to any errors or unusual quantities during the picking process.

• Maintain awareness of health and safety procedures at all times.

• Keep the warehouse area clean, tidy, and free from rubbish.

Education

• Basic literacy and numeracy skills are required.

Work Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is highly desirable.

Skills and Knowledge

Essential:

• High visual accuracy

• Good verbal communication skills

• Basic written communication skills

• Customer care orientation

Desirable:

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
