Warehouse Supervisor (Night Shift)

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Manage activities associated with inbound and outbound warehouse operations
• Meet warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements
• Optimize employee workflow and make suggestions for productivity improvements
• Ensure reduction of financial loss related to damaged products
• Analyze shipment logs and review timelines of scheduled deliveries
• Move inventory around by scheduling materials to be moved to-and-from warehouse; coordinating inventory transfers with related departments
• Review and edit payroll and commission reports, submit reports for payment
• Opens and closes the shift
• Train, guide, and evaluate new warehouse workers periodically
• Ensure that facility vehicles and equipment are properly maintained
• Determine and track most important KPIs
• Maintain storage area clean by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommends improvements when needed
• Deliver supplies and equipment to departments by receiving and transferring items
• Accomplish warehouse and organization mission by completing related results as needed
  
  

Qualifications And Requirements

• Bachelor’s or an associate degree in administration, retail, merchandising, supply chain or any related field of study preferred. The equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable
• Forklift and OSHA certified preferred
• Experience of 2 to 3 years in warehousing or supply chain management
• Exceptional leadership skills and directing abilities
• Strong interpersonal, motivational capabilities, and communication skills
• Understanding of all safety and legal procedures for handling and receiving goods
• Ability to effectively manage time and meet all necessary deadlines
• Ability to efficiently coordinate workings with internal and external workers of the company
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
