Job Title: X-Ray Technician
Location: Brooklyn, NY 11234
Duration: 3-Month Contract (Potential for Extension)
Shift: 40 Hours/Week, 8-Hour Shifts

• Two overnights required:

  • Sunday into Monday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

  • Monday into Tuesday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• Three additional shifts: Flexible (mid-shift or evening)

Pay Rate: $61–$62/hour (W2)

Job Overview:

A reputable healthcare facility in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a certified X-Ray Technician for a full-time contract position. This role involves performing high-quality diagnostic radiologic exams, ensuring patient safety, and supporting the clinical team with professional imaging services.

Responsibilities:

• Establish rapport with patients to understand and meet service needs.

• Prepare and position patients for radiologic procedures using proper techniques and safety protocols.

• Minimize radiation exposure by using protective equipment and beam restriction methods.

• Produce quality diagnostic images by following standardized procedures and adjusting as necessary.

• Maintain accurate patient records, including documentation of procedures and image verification.

• Perform preventive maintenance on imaging equipment and assist in evaluating new tools or techniques.

• Monitor and manage radiology inventory levels.

• Comply with infection control, safety, and regulatory procedures.

• Stay current with continuing medical education (CME) and professional development requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology

• Certification:

  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)

  • Valid Radiology Technologist License (NY)

• Demonstrated skills in diagnostic procedures and patient care

• Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities

• Strong focus on safety, quality, and dependability
